     We carry a complete line of rescue equipment including rescue rope and hardware, harnesses and fall protection harnesses, confined space equipment, including communication equipment and atmospheric ventilation, monitoring and breathing air equipment.

SIERRA SAFETY ASSOCIATES was started in 1982 to fill a need. A place to buy search and rescue and fire equipment in northern California.  Before that, finding rescue equipment in northern California was not possible. 2003 marks 21 years serving safety professionals.
     Early in our history, training became an important part of our business. Our training programs include, but is not limited to, confined space, swift water rescue, rappelling and fall protection for the fire/rescue professional and private industry.

Our rugged, state-of-the-art communication systems from Con-Space are "full-duplex" which means that everybody on the system can speak to each other like a telephone call, hands free. A Con-Space system can be used with any type or style of breathing apparatus, even in high-noise environments, The triple-shielded cable ensures reliable communication to a maximum of 1,500 feet in areas such as fuel cells, man- holes, sewers, pipes, tanks, and boilers where wireless systems do not work effectively.

The all new Titan Stretcher is a complete re-thinking of the classic Stokes military style stretchers. The top rail is a full one-inch diameter to make the stretcher easier to handle when carried for extended periods. The "chicken wire" has been replaced with a Durathene netting which eliminates the cuts and scrapes caused by broken wires. The back support is molded High Density Polyethylene for greater durability. The steep sided design allows a narrower stretcher with the same width at the bed which will accept the standard sized back boards. The narrow width and rounded ends provide greater maneuverability in tight locations. Comes with four stretcher straps.
